The Vestax BDT-2500 is a Belt Drive Turntable that offers beginning DJs an economical alternative to more expensive direct drive turntables. The BDT-2500 includes two pitch controls (a main pitch and a fine tune pitch control). Turntable speeds can be set from 16 rpm all the way up to 98 rpm. The "S" shaped tonearm helps the BDT-2500 maximize its traceability and durability during play. Another unique feature is the built-in pre-amplifier - this allows connection to home stereo systems that don't have a phono input (very common in today's digital age). A preamp bypass switch also allows hook up to DJ mixer phone inputs. The unique heavy-duty metal chassis minimizes potential feedback and vibration.

The integrated high-quality phono amp allows you to connect the BDT 2500 to the line input jack of any mixer, pre-amplifier, receiver, or mini-system. Since most recent consumer playback gear omits a phono jack, this is a particlarly useful feature. The pre-amp also offers a simple way to get your analog signal into your computer in order to digitize your vinyl collection. A bypass switch lets you use a conventional phono input. Separate main and fine pitch controls, allow you to set the speed from 16 rpm to 98 rpm with no gaps. Hence any vinyl format can be played. The static balanced "S" tone arm system draws on Vestax's professional designs. The heavy-duty metal chassis minimizes feedback and vibration. A power switch is located on the top panel for ease of use. Not intended for scratching.
